The Australian dollar has risen slightly against the US dollar and is buying 72.92 US cents from 72.89 US cents at Friday’s close.

One Australian dollar buys 81.66 Japanese yen, from 82.23 ; 61.83 euro cents, from 61.88 ; 54.53 British pence, from 54.97 and 108.89 NZ cents, from 108.97.
