A MAN whose girlfriend ended her life after he threatened her with revenge porn may face manslaughter charges, a court in the UK has heard.

Alessio Bianchi, 26, told Damilya Jossipalenya, 24, he would send an X-rated clip to her relatives days before she suicided.

Bianchi had already sent a picture or clip of Jossipalenya performing a sex act on him in a phone box to a friend, who had in turn shared it with others, The Sun reports.

After he shared that clip he assaulted Ms Jossipalenya and told her, “I am going to keep destroying you”. The assault and threat occurred the day before she died.

Magistrate Timothy Rose said: “A week after the photographs were disclosed to his friend the complainant, who he knew to be vulnerable, killed herself.

“It cannot be said that the defendant’s actions caused the suicide only that he knew his actions related to a vulnerable woman.

“The image showed the complainant performing oral sex in a telephone kiosk. The defendant then gave the image or short film to his friend and it was then passed back to the complainant and a friend of hers.

“The defence has now accepted, in regards to the assault, that the defendant may well have placed his hands around her neck and left marks.”

Prosecutor Carly Loftus said: ‘The complainant in this case has been assaulted. He spat at her in her face and then punches her. She said that she felt as though she were going to pass out.

“He seems to be choking her and trying to slam her down. A member of staff came to the complainant and tried to keep her warm.”

The pair met at London’s Regent’s University and began dating.

Last week Westminster coroner’s court in central London heard that the Crown Prosecution Service has asked police if there is enough evidence to investigate him in connection with the young woman’s death.

Detective Sergeant Emma Kirby of the Metropolitan Police said: “We have been asked to look into whether there has been a history of domestic abuse that could have deteriorated the deceased’s mental state to a point where she might have committed suicide.”

Bianchi, an Italian born in Saudi Arabia, was handed a 12-week suspended jail term in April after he admitted an assault on Ms Jossipalenya and disclosing private sexual photos and films.

Bianchi was caught on CCTV throttling, punching and spitting at Ms Jossipalenya the day before she died.

Assistant coroner Dr Shirley Radcliffe adjourned the hearing until a full inquest later this year.
