The fiery tennis superstar has reignited a feud from 2015 with Fraser after a less than subtle tweet on Monday evening.

Fraser was honoured on the Queen’s Birthday with a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) and spoke on Sunrise about the honour.

“I’m so very grateful that I’m Australian and I’ve been given this honour by the Governor-general, it’s just absolutely fantastic,” Fraser said.

The program tweeted out the interview with the former swimming star which Kyrgios then retweeted with the message “Racist tho”.

Back in 2015 Fraser launched a scathing attack on both Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic as she stated the duo should “go back to where their fathers or parents came from” on the Today Show.

Fraser’s anger came after Kyrgios was eliminated from Wimbledon at the quarterfinal stage by Richard Gasquet 7-5, 6-1, 6-7, 7-6.

“They should be setting a better example for the younger generation of this country, a great country of ours,” a frustrated Fraser to Karl Stefanovic in 2015.

“If they don’t like it, go back to where their fathers or their parents came from. We don’t need them here in this country if they act like that.”

Again not one to bite his tongue, Kyrgios quickly fired back, but this time he wasn’t alone as his mother, Nill, also took aim at Fraser.

In a since deleted tweet the number 24 ranked player in the world didn’t directly mention Fraser, however it was clear who his intended target was.

“Throwing a racket, brat. Debating the rules, disrespectful. Frustrated when competing, spoilt. Showing emotion, arrogant. Blatant racist, Australian legend,” he wrote.

Fraser defended her comments but denied they were racist. The latest strike from Kyrgios will only add fuel to the fire.

“I’m not a racist person, if you take it that way then I’m sorry that you take it that way, but I’m not racist at all,” she told Fairfax Media.

Kyrgios was forced to withdraw from the French Open due to injury, he is however slated to take part in the Stuggart Open as he tries to get his body right for Wimbledon.

After being forced to retire during the opening round in 2017, Kyrgios will be hoping to continue his stellar record on the grass.

Holding a 10-4 career win-loss record at Wimbledon all eyes will be on the enigmatic Australian to see if he can produce on the big stage once more.
