Australian UFC middleweight champiom Robert Whittaker has scored a five-round split-decision points win over Cuba's Yoel Romero at the United Center in Chicago.

Whittaker's belt was not on the line in the fight after Romero again failed to make weight yesterday, but that didn't prevent a war in the Octagon that went down to the wire.
