AUSTRALIA’S Jeff Horn and US champ Terence Crawford may have been the main event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but one celebrity created huge pre-fight excitement.
Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg dropped backstage to wish Horn well, but sadly didn’t give the Queenslander much of a chance against Crawford.

“I’d love to say hello to Jeff, and wish him the best,” Wahlberg told Main Event’s Ben Damon.
“It’s a big, big, big fight here in Vegas.
“I think he’s going to have a lot of support out here, you know, the Australian fans always come out, no matter where you are in the world.”
Horn took the meeting in his stride as he prepared for his career-defining bout.
Wahlberg, who looks like he could go 12 rounds in the ring, also took time out to pose for pictures with the vast Australian media contingent, including The Courier-Mail’s boxing expert Grantlee Kieza.
Other big name Hollywood stars at the fight include Lady Gaga and US rap star Rick Ross, who was seated in front of Queensland tourism minister Kate Jones.
