IN their final test before taking on the might of France in a massive World Cup opener, the Socceroos face an unqualified Hungary in Budapest in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
With Tomi Juric back up and running, Bert van Marwijk has his full 23-man squad available and is primed to give an insight into who will take to the park against Les Bleus on June 16.
Long gone are the days of The Magnificent Magyars from the 1950s, where the likes of Ferenc Puskas and Sandor Kocsis introduced the world to the earliest form of ‘Total Football’.
Hungary have never managed to re-visit those glory days, failing to qualify for the past eight World Cup tournaments.
But nevertheless, the two-time World Cup runners-up present an intriguing final task for the Aussies before they board plane to Russia.
After impressing against the Czech Republic in a 4-0 win last week, the Socceroos will be looking to continue that form into this clash with Hungary.
The Hungarians have never beaten the Aussies. A win, accompanied by another solid performance, should put the Socceroos in good stead for the World Cup next week.

WHY THE SOCCEROOS WILL WIN
This new-look Roos side showed some of their attacking prowess against the Czech Republic.
If Mooy, Luongo and Rogic can find the likes of Nabbout and Leckie in space, then their blistering pace should trouble the Hungarian defence.
A solid win, accompanied by a well-rounded performance against Hungary would put the Roos in a good frame of mind for the World Cup.
WHY HUNGARY WILL WIN
Resolute defending and counter-attacking football.
If they watched the Roos’ recemt performance against the Czech Republic, the Hungarians will surely look to counter-attack against the run of play.
The Czechs exploited the gaps in the Australian defence, but failed to put the ball in the back of the net.
If the Hungarians can be clinical infront of goal, they may steal a win.
Former PSV winger Balazs Dzsudzsák will be the one to watch.
