
The Byron Bay-based former Home and Away star created a one-off timepiece with his signature, as he put it, "scribbled" on the back that he auctioned off at the event for a not-too-shabby $35,000 with all of the proceeds going to the Australian Childhood Foundation.

The festival, which runs from June 6-17, screened New Zealand film The Breaker Upperers with its writers-directors-stars Jackie van Beek and Madeleine Sami, and the two of the film's stars - comedian Celia Pacquola and New Zealand actress Ana Scotney - all in attendance.

It was Alyce Tran's first ever attempt at wedding styling with the TDE co-founder saying she felt particularly nervous about her efforts once she spotted one of Sydney's leading event stylists, Jason James, saunter through the door. But he was thoroughly impressed by her work.

Also in attendance was Nine host Karl Stefanovic's second wife Jasmine Yarbrough, who was no doubt searching for some wedding inspiration as the pair get ready to say their "I dos" again in a more official capacity later in the year after they were hitched in a commitment ceremony at Palm Beach in March.
