One of the last metropolitan orchards in the eastern suburbs has hit the market, carrying a $90 million-plus price tag.
The 14.96 hectare Jenkins Orchard at 1201-1211 High Street Road in Wantirna South was rezoned in 2015 to allow for residential and commercial development – as high as five levels in some parts and including a neighbourhood shopping centre.

Savills Australia agents Nick Peden, Clinton Baxter, Jesse Radisich and Benson Zhou are selling the property via an expressions of interest campaign.
“There’s not a great deal of privately owned large parcels of land left in the metro area,” Mr Peden said.
