If Fargo were to swap the snow for red dirt, it might look something like this six-part spin-off series of Ivan Sen's 2013 feature film. The steadily unfolding case of two missing teenagers, which draws back Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen, reprising his role) from the big smoke, sets in motion a tangle of intrigue in a West Kimberley town of dark horses. Despite the jaded town cop, Judy Davis smoulders.

Ernie Dingo presents a solid half-hour backgrounder on five AFL champions, including Nicky Winmar, to have emerged from the Aussie Rules heartland of Noongar Boodja in Western Australia. Here, the game has a strong history of helping Indigenous people overcome hardship, as well as producing some exceptionally skilled players. First up is the story of legendary rover Barry Cable (pictured).
