US rapper Riff Raff's tour of Australia and New Zealand has been cancelled after a Melbourne woman accused him of drugging and raping her after a concert five years ago.

"In 2013, I was raped by a man whose stage name is Riff Raff," Eliza Stafford said in a statement posted on Facebook.

Ms Stafford said she was asked to go backstage mid-show, and "as a 19-year-old I was flattered and complied".

She alleged she was offered a 60ml "party shot" from a branded vodka bottle, but when she drank it and it tasted like syrup, she asked what it was.

"Riff Raff … told me that it was codeine and started laughing," she said.

"I don't remember anything from that point."

Ms Stafford said her friends, who had been waiting outside, asked another girl who had been backstage what happened.

"[She] told them that I had been coerced to get into a car with Riff Raff," Ms Stafford said.

"She didn't do anything.

"I had been actively fighting against them as she watched and they had eventually forced me into a car."

Her friends did not report it, but she said she did not blame them because they "were all young".

"I woke up as Riff Raff was pulling out of me and getting into the shower," Ms Stafford said.

"I crawled — truly, on all fours — out of the hotel room and managed to get outside where I booked a taxi who wouldn't take me because I was 'too drunk'."

She said, at the time, she and her friends "were children and didn't know how to respond".

On Thursday, she said she received a notification Riff Raff — whose real name is Horst Christian Simco — would next week be performing at the Corner Hotel, near where she works.

"I will be 50 metres from my rapist all night," she said.

Tour 'cancelled, effective immediately'

Riff Raff's tour promoter Audiopaxx said, in light of the allegations, his tour, due to begin last night in Cairns, had been "cancelled, effective immediately".

The Corner Hotel posted a statement on its Facebook page, saying it has cancelled Riff Raff's upcoming show after being made aware of the allegations.

Other venues, including the TBC Club in Brisbane and Newcastle's Cambridge Hotel, also posted similar statements.

ABC News has contacted Riff Raff and Ms Stafford for comment.
