A man has been hit by a car in Western Australia's Pilbara region, with the driver failing to stop afterwards.
The 41-year-old man was walking along Mujira Ramble near Bajamalu Drive, Baynton, near Karratha, about 2.30am on Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle did not stop and investigators are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, while the victim remains in hospital in a serious condition.
