A woman who was found dead on North Cronulla beach on Wednesday morning is still to be identified.
Two women exercising on the beach found the woman lying face-down in the sand about 5am, alerting police, who set up a crime scene on the beach.

Photo: John VeageDetective Chief Inspector Terry O’Neill told a press conference on Wednesday afternoon that their sole aim at the moment was to identify the woman, who was found fully clothed.
The woman was described as being Indian or Subcontinental in appearance, aged between mid-teens and early 30s, about 160 centimetres tall, of a slim build and with long dark hair.
She was wearing a long-sleeve black woollen turtle-neck jumper, maroon coloured pants and black sneakers with white soles.
