Two cyclists have been left with serious injuries after being struck by a car on a highway in NSW's New England region.
The two riders, who AAP understand were part of a larger group of cyclists, were hit on the Bexley Highway near the tiny town of Drake just before midday on Saturday.
They suffered serious injuries including multiple leg fractures, a NSW Ambulance spokesman told AAP.
Emergency services rushed to the scene before the pair was airlifted to hospital.
The highway was closed in both directions while investigators examined the scene.
