Fairfax Media revealed last week that Buttrose won't be travelling to London to cover Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, despite covering royal weddings for Australian television in 1981, 1986 and more recently in 2011. Instead, Ten's entertainment reporter Angela Bishop will lead the network's royal wedding coverage.
Earlier this year, Buttrose was forced to deny there was a feud between herself and Studio 10 co-host Denise Drysdale. The pair made headlines thanks to an incident involving brussels sprouts during the program's 2017 Christmas party.

"She has been with the show since day one and has been a wonderful member of the team," she said.
