Ita Buttrose is reportedly leaving Network Ten's flagship mornings program.

The former Cleo editor is expected to announce her departure from Studio 10 on Wednesday morning, according to trade publication TV Tonight. Buttrose has co-hosted the show for almost five years.

The news comes just a month after former co-star Jessica Rowe announced she was leaving the program for family reasons.

Fairfax Media revealed last week that Buttrose won't be travelling to London to cover Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, despite covering royal weddings for Australian television in 1981, 1986 and more recently in 2011. Instead, Ten's entertainment reporter Angela Bishop will lead the network's royal wedding coverage.
