A former Forbes reporter is claiming US President Donald Trump lied to him about his wealth to try to get on the Forbes 400, an annual ranking of America's richest people. Jonathan Greenberg has written in the Washington Post that a man identifying himself as John Barron telephoned him in 1984 to claim Mr Trump could be a billionaire. The President reportedly uses the name John Barron as an alter ego when calling news organisations to spread positive stories about himself.
