WINX JOINS BLACK CAVIAR AT RACING’S PINNACLE

Winx equalled Black Caviar’s record of 25-straight wins last Saturday and it’s not over yet as the stable looks to add a fourth Cox Plate to her unbelievable record.

She is only $1575 off cracking the $19m in career earnings and has won 29 races from 35 starts, and has been unbeaten for three years.

She is set to return to racing in the Group 2 Warwick Stakes (1400m) in August, but there is speculation her owners might have a crack at the $13m The Everest (1200m) in October, although that’s doubtful.

A fourth Cox Plate run could be her final career start. When she returns in the spring she will be a seven-year-old and Waller stressed that she wouldn’t run unless she came back as well as ever. She is a $1.50 chance to claim a fourth Cox Plate and a $15 chance in The Everest.
