An In-N-Out Burger pop-up store in Windsor, an inner suburb of Melbourne, sold out of food in just 30 minutes.

On Tuesday morning the US cult burger chain announced they were taking over Chapel St restaurant Lover between 11am-3pm, selling their popular double-double burgers and animal fries.

According to news.com.au, 30 minutes after the store opened, people were being turned away.

The line of people waiting for the fast food was two blocks long.

The 300 burgers available were selling for $5 each.

The last time In-N-Out tried a pop-up store in Australia it sold out before the store could even open.

In 2016, a pop-up at Dead Ringer in Surry Hills in Sydney saw queues forming outside the store since 6am.

Here’s a look at the madness in Melbourne today.

This poor guy looks tired

And the lucky few who got to enjoy the burgers
