An Ipswich woman and her infant child who have not been seen since Tuesday have Queensland police seriously concerned, as she may not have food or clothing and both are suffering from medical conditions.

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find 27-year-old Tara Inglis and her 18-month-old daughter, who were last seen near the intersection of Brisbane Road and South Station Road at Booval, west of Brisbane, on February 13 between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

They said the mother and child had been at the nearby Booval Fair Shopping Centre with a man they knew, who police have since spoken to.

Police said Ms Inglis might not be in possession of food or clothing for her and her daughter, and officers were worried for the pair's wellbeing as they also suffered from medical conditions.

Ms Inglis was last seen pushing the child in a pink pram.

She is described as about 150 centimetres tall, with a very slim build, with short dyed red hair, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, shorts and thongs.

Anyone with information about the mother and child's where about is asked to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
