In a developing story, Triple M can report that the Australian Border Force has detained 19-year-old Caleb Maraku.
Maraku was last month sentenced to 12 months probation over a coward punch attack in Surfer Paradise last November.
It has been confirmed by Border Force that he will be removed from Australia.
He is expected to be sent back to New Zealand.
