Two Australians, Danielle Scott and Laura Peel, have qualified for the freestyle skiing aerials finals in the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.

However, fellow Australian and former Olympic gold medallist, Lydia Lassila, was not successful, failing to land either of her qualifying jumps.

Most recent aerial world champion Ashley Caldwell of the United States also missed out on a finals spot.
