Another American school shooting has made international headlines after 17 people were killed north of Miami, Florida.
But this is far from the first school shooting in the United States so far this year.
The Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund says America has averaged one school shooting a week since 2013, based on the definition "any time a firearm discharges a live round inside a school building or on a school campus or grounds".
In 2018 so far the rate has been far higher, with Everytown putting the number of school shootings at 17 before the Florida attack.
Not all of the shootings resulted in injuries or deaths. But here are five that did.

"This is a small town, you know? I never imagined it."
Police told reporters that the shooter was confronted by a school staff member. The 15-year-old was recovering in hospital and in "good spirits" after the shooting, officials said.
"It is an amazing demonstration of her strength that she was able to survive this," school district superintendent Lee Joffre said.

This was the first fatal school shooting of 2018. A 15-year-old student fired a handgun at classmates at the rural Marshall County High School in Kentucky.

Two 15-year-old students — a boy and a girl — died and seventeen students were injured.
Ms Caporali said the shooter kept firing until he ran out of ammunition and took off running, trying to get away.
Police arrested a suspect moments later, leading him away in handcuffs to be charged with murder and attempted murder.
