A Gold Coast man has been charged after a woman was taken to hospital with a wound to her neck.
People were called to a home in the suburb of Reedy Creek on Monday afternoon and found a 49-year-old woman with a wound to her neck.
A 77-year-old man known to the woman was arrested at the scene and later charged with causing grievous bodily harm. He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday
