Actress Uma Thurman has accused embattled Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of forcing himself upon her sexually.
The New York Times quoted Thurman as saying Weinstein attacked her in London.
She said he pushed her down and tried to shove himself on her and expose himself.
Thurman said she had got to know the now-disgraced Hollywood mogul and his first wife, Eve following the release of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
She said the film made Weinstein rich and respected and he introduced her to former president Barack Obama at a fund-raiser, saying she was the reason he had his house.
Thurman said she was "attacked" by Weinstein at the Savoy Hotel in London.
"It was such a bat to the head. He pushed me down. He tried to shove himself on me. He tried to expose himself. He did all kinds of unpleasant things. But he didn't actually put his back into it and force me," she said.
"You're like an animal wriggling away, like a lizard. I was doing anything I could to get the train back on the track. My track. Not his track."
A spokeswoman for Weinstein said he had apologised to Thurman for making an "awkward pass" at her 25 years ago, but her claims about being physically assaulted were untrue.
Weinstein has been accused of rape and sexual harassment by over 70 women, including a large number of Hollywood actresses and models.
Police in the United States and Britain are investigating allegations of rape and sexual assault against Weinstein, and he has been fired by the film company he founded with his brother Bob.
