A serial drink driver has been fined almost $2000 - this time for drug driving and speeding.
Mitchell Walsh has previously been convicted of drink driving seven times.
He first hit the headlines in 2003 when he was involved in a fatal crash involving 10-year-old Jess Meehan, while three times over the legal alcohol limit.
Today, the 33-year-old faced court via video link from Hakea Prison.
Walsh admitted driving with methamphetamine and cannabis in his system in Carine in December.
About a week later, he was also caught speeding in his Ford Falcon ute, doing more than 100kms an hour in a 60km zone.
He told the Magistrate he was coming off the freeway and wasn't paying attention to the speed limit.
Walsh was fined $1500 for reckless driving and $400 for drug driving.
He's also facing charges of driving under suspension and stealing a motor bike.
Walsh is currently behind bars after being refused bail at a previous court appearance.
