A Gold Coast teenager charged over the hit-and-run murder of a good Samaritan is expected to apply for bail in a Brisbane court.
Darren Pullar went to help neighbours after a violent home invasion in the early hours of Boxing Day but was hit by a car as it was driven from a Broadbeach Waters property, police allege.
They later charged Alexander Kirke, 17, with murder, attempted burglary and assault occasioning bodily harm over the incident.
Detective Acting Inspector Greg Aubort said at the time there was nothing to link Mr Pullar, 50, to the two men involved in the incident.
Kirke is listed to apply for bail at Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday.
