A jury is expected to retire to consider their verdict in the perjury trial of a former Bandido bikie on the Gold Coast.
Peter Mauric, 48, has pleaded not guilty to one count of perjury.
Judge Katherine McGinness is expected to deliver her summary on Friday to the jury at the Southport District Court before asking them to consider their verdict.
Prosecutors allege Mauric, who was involved in the infamous Broadbeach bikie brawl on the Gold Coast in 2013, gave contradictory statements under oath to a Crime and Corruption Commission (CC) hearing in 2013 and then at a trial at Southport Magistrates Court in 2015.
Crown prosecutor Michael Connelly told the court on Thursday Mauric had been asked at the CCC hearing if he knew a man confronted by fellow Bandido Jacques Teamo on the night of the brawl.
Mauric said he had not met the man until that night.
Prosecutors allege the man confronted by Teamo was Jason Trouchet.
During the 2015 trial, Mauric gave evidence where he was asked if he knew Mr Trouchet and said he'd known him for over 20 years.
"We used to - let's be honest - bed the same girls together," Mauric says.
"One week I'd have her and next week he would. That's how close we are."
In his closing submissions, defence barrister Scott Corish disputed Mr Connelly's assumption Mauric knew the CCC was referring to Mr Trouchet in their question.
"Surely there's a question missing in the Crime and Corrupton Commission hearing," Mr Corish said.
"Do you know Jason Trouchet?
"They couldn't bother to do that ... somehow Mr Mauric is supposed to read their mind and know they're asking about."
