Police have charged a man after a 40-year-old man was allegedly bitten during an altercation in Inala overnight.
Officers were called to Andromeda Street at 1.20am following reports of a disturbance at the front of a residence.
On arrival, police found one of the men had allegedly had the lobe of his ear bitten off by another man.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A 20-year-old Inala man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow.
