WA BREWERY DRIVES PUNTERS DOWN SOUTH
A new Honest Bus service hits Caves Road from Boxing Day, driving happy folk between Little Brother in Dunsborough and Black Brewing Co. in Wilyabrup. To welcome in the festive season, Black Brewing has expanded its shaded area on the beer garden lawn, and will feature DJs and drinks specials. The Honest Bus collects punters people from outside Little Brother in Dunsborough at 1pm and heads to Black Brewing, before returning to Little Brother at 7pm (complete with DJ on board). No bookings and the service is free. No worries huh? Black Brewing has also launched a new bar menu and extra space on its tasting room lawn for the busy days expected ahead. Little Brother has also changed things up, with a new tapas menu to match its extensive drinks list. The Honest Bus service runs daily between Boxing Day and New Year's Day, and every Saturday in January afterwards.

SUMMER COMES TO NORTHBRIDGE
Summer has landed with a bang at Perth's original inner-city hood, with Henry Summer sliding open its lush oasis doors and promising punters a unique Northbridge experience.

The latest venue from serial-hospitality operator and chef Clint Nolan and his Lavish Habits team, the cocktail and wine bar decor is inspired by Parisian apartments of the 1970s, with splashes of 1930s tropical prints, rattan chairs, plush pink bar stools and leather booths. There are different themed areas too, so choose your mood and shake away at Henry Summer.

'V' IS FOR VIDAL
Hawkes Bay in New Zealand is producing some of the more diverse chardonnays and sauvignon blancs from the region these days, so it was no surprise Vidal Wines' head winemaker Hugh Crichton, known in the region as 'Mr Chardonnay', was thrilled his 2016 Vidal Legacy Chardonnay was awarded best full bodied dry white wine at the prestigious Sydney International Wine Show, one of many awards the wine has won this year and reinforcing Hawkes Bay as one of the world's great wine regions.

WARBURN AND DE BORTOLI WINES RECALLED
A warning for anyone who's purchased the following two wines in the lead-up to Christmas; De Bortoli has recalled its recently-released Woodfired Sparkling Shiraz (750ml), date marking L7279b1 and L7327b1 due to a packaging fault that may cause the bottle to shatter under extreme heat. People should not open the bottle and minimise handling, or call 1800 697 224 for pick-up and replacement options.

Warburn Estate's popular wine brands Rumours and Gossips have also been recalled due to the potential presence of glass in the bottle. Consumers should also return these wines to the place of purchase for a full refund.
