Not even a tough battle to retain her seat at next weekend's state election is enough to keep Queensland's Deputy Premier off the dance floor.
Jackie Trad was captured on camera last night dancing to Taylor Swift's Shake It Off at Brisbane's Rumpus Room, at a party to celebrate the Yes vote victory in the same-sex marriage survey.
Earlier in the day she was spotted front row in the crowd gathered at Queen's Park to hear the result of the survey.
Ms Trad, back on the campaign trail today in her electorate of South Brisbane, said she was "proud to be part of a community that overwhelmingly backed a yes vote".
"This means so much to so many in my community, my friends and loved ones.
"I couldn't think of any better way to celebrate than busting a move with locals.
"After a day of campaigning, I am a bit worried my moves look a little rusty but I can't resist dancing at every big celebration, particularly when Taylor comes on."
The incumbent faces stiff competition in her electorate from Queensland Greens leader Amy McMahon.
A poll in The Courier-Mail earlier this week suggested Ms Trad was under growing threat from Ms McMahon.
Last night was not the first time Ms Trad's moves have been on display.
When Taytay came to Brisbane back in 2015, Ms Trad danced to Shake It Off in a video for The Courier-Mail website.
She was answering an attempt by then deputy-LNP leader John-Paul Langbroek.
But they're not the only dancing politicians in Queensland.
LNP's Jarrod Bleijie, who is an avid ballroom dancer with wife Sally, regularly raises money for charity with their performances.
