Here's a summary of the completed trades thus far as we enter the countdown to the end of the trade period at 2pm on Thursday:
1. The Western Bulldogs made an offer to restricted free agent Jackson Trengove. Port Adelaide elected not to match the offer and Trengove was able to join the Western Bulldogs immediately.
2. Port Adelaide made an offer to restricted free agent Tom Rockliff and the Brisbane Lions elected not to match the Port's offer. The Lions were eligible for a compensation selection
3. Melbourne traded their first round pick, their 2018 future round one selection and future round fourth pick to the Adelaide Crows for Jake Lever, their second round pick and their 2018 future third round selection.
4. GWS Giants traded Devon Smith, their second round pick (currently number 25) and their future 2018 second round pick to Essendon for their round one selection (currently number 11) and their 2018 future round three selection.
5. Port Adelaide traded Jarman Impey, their round four selection (currently number 68) to Hawthorn for their second round selection (currently number 34), their round four selection (currently number 62) and their 2018 future round four pick.
6. Fremantle trade Hayden Crozier and their 2018 future round four selection to the Western Bulldogs for their third round pick (currently number 41) and their round five selection (currently number 83).
7. Port Adelaide made an offer to restricted free agent Steven Motlop (Geelong) and the Cats elected not to match the offer.
Based on the player's age and contract offer, the AFL advised the Geelong they would be eligible for an end of round one compensation selection, which would be number 19 on the provisional selection order.
8. The Gold Coast Suns trade Adam Saad to Essendon for their 2018 future round two selection.
