Showpo founder and CEO Jane Lu has launched a 4-part YouTube series “The Showpo Story by Jane Lu”.

The decision to create the series came off the back of the mounting requests Lu would get from people seeking her advice.

“Every single day, I get asked multiple times by different individuals, groups or associations to share my story,” she says. “Unfortunately, I just don’t have time to sit down and have a chat with everyone or jump on the phone.

“But I hate saying no and I hate not being able to help when being asked! So I thought that by sitting down and actually telling the full story it would be really accessible to anyone interested.”

She did it as a 4-part to make it easy for people to digest and engage with.

She says otherwise “it would have been way too long and some people may only be interested in certain aspects of my business journey – this makes it easier to find”.

A self-made businesswoman, familiar with the struggles of starting and growing a business, Lu says it’s her way of giving back.

“I think it’s really important to help inspire women and other business people in any way I can, so if hearing some tips and tricks can do that, then I’m really happy.”

Since Showpo launched in 2010, the online fashion business has achieved a $30 million in sales and increased its full-time staff to 43 people in Sydney and 12 internationally.
