UFC star Conor McGregor will attempt to ruin Floyd Mayweather Jr's undefeated boxing record in just under a fortnight in Las Vegas. Here's the basic details you need to know.Â
When is it?
The fight will take place in the early afternoon on Sunday, August 27th (AEST) with eight fights confirmed on the card so far. The preliminary bouts should kick-off at around 11am, with the main fight estimated to start at around 2pm.Â
Where is it?
Where else but Las Vegas? The two will tangle at the T-Mobile Arena in Sin City, just a few blocks away from Mayweather's private gym, and a few minutes drive from the UFC's new performance institute, where McGregor has done some of his training for this fight.Â
How can I watch?
Main Event is selling the fight for $59.95, which is a nice change to being charged more for things than our American counterparts. Fans in the States will have to pay $100USD to watch the PPV in high definition.Â
If that price is too high, most pubs and bars with Main Event access will be showing the fight. If you're not near a television, Fairfax will be running a live fight blog from start to finish.Â
