A MAN’s bloodied body has been found in a campervan parked at an industrial estate in Sydney’s south this morning, with one worker saying he spotted a “huge pool of blood†at the site.
Emergency services were called Garema Circuit in Kingsgrove about 10.30am when the body was found in the van, which was also spattered with blood.
The man has not yet been identified but police are treating the death of suspicious.
A crime scene was set up in the carpark between an office furniture supplier and a refrigeration and air supply company, with forensic officers and the dog squad investigating.
Michelle Foley, who works on Garema Circuit, told The Daily Telegraph the industrial estate was a common spot for people to take drugs.
“It’s like all industrial estates, the police come through here quite often,†she said.
A workman next door, who did not wish to be identified, said there was evidence of violence this morning.
“There was a huge pool of blood,†he said.
It is understood police are requesting security footage from nearby buildings.
A police helicopter also arrived above the scene at 1.15pm.
A police spokeswoman says the man’s death appears suspicious and inquiries are underway to determine how he died.
