A severe weather warning has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology for Monday, July 17.

The Bureau of Meteorology says the same warning issued at 5am on Monday, July 17 remains in place.
Districts affected are Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, and Lower South East, and parts of the West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Murraylands and Upper South East.
A new warning will be issued at 2.15am on Monday.

The Bureau of Meterology has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds.
Districts included in the warning area are Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, and Lower South East, and parts of the West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Murraylands and Upper South East.
The Bureau warns that a deep low pressure system south of the Bight is moving towards Tasmania, bringing with is a vigorous north-west to westerly air stream which is resulting in gusty showers and thunderstorms hitting South Australia on Monday morning.
Strong to damaging north-west to westerly winds between 50km/h and 65km/h, with gusts topping 90km/h, are predicted in the warning area, which includes towns such as Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Mount Gambier, Maitland, Murray Bridge, and Kingscote.
The State Emergency Service urges people to keep cars under cover and away from trees, ensure loose items are secured, and stay indoors and away from windows.

A gust of 106km/h was recorded at Neptune Island early this morning.
