Winter is here and it has brought the rare dusting of snow to Western Australia.
Locals and tourists taking the 6km round-trip trek up to Bluff Knoll, in WA's Great Southern region, found the peak of the Stirling Range snow-capped on Sunday morning.
Bluff Knoll, which is 1095m above sea level, is the third highest peak in WA and one of the few places in the state where it can actually snow on the rare occasion.
It prompted visitors to build a snowman and even partake in the tradition of being photographed 'in the buff on the bluff'.
