Twitter has been flooded with suggestions for movie titles to the Government's school funding sequel, Gonski 2.0.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull yesterday announced intentions to overhaul education funding, with businessman David Gonski, who led the former Labor government's review of education, to conduct another review of the sector.

The move was dubbed "Gonski 2.0" by Mr Turnbull.

Using the hashtag #GonskiMovies, Twitter users shared satirical titles and puns of what the education review would be called if it were a movie.
