Melbourne's Jordan Lewis has copped a three-week suspension for his hit on Carlton's Patrick Cripps.
Lewis hit Cripps in the face during the Demons' win over the Blues at the MCG, sparking an all-in brawl, after he shoved the Blues utility to the turf.
His previous record means the penalty is three matches with an early plea.
Cripps could be out of the game for longer than that suspension after suffering a minor jaw fracture from Hogan's hit. As a result, he is a doubt to face Essendon on Sunday.
Carlton football boss Andrew McKay says Cripps' jaw was not displaced but the 22-year-old will undergo further tests in coming days.
Meanwhile, the Match Review Panel (MRP) has offered Jesse Hogan a two-week ban for his hit on Sam Rowe.
North Melbourne's Scott Thompson can accept a one-week ban after he made contact with Geelong forward Patrick Dangerfield's face with his elbow in a crunching collision.
Sydney's Zak Jones was charged with rough conduct against the Bulldogs' Travis Cloke and can accept a $1,000 fine with an early plea, while Hawthorn's Ben Stratton also copped the same fine for his strike on Adelaide's Eddie Betts.
The Kangaroos' Brayden Preuss was also offered a $1,000 sanction for rough conduct on Geelong's Jackson Thurlow.
