Daily Mail UK's cover for Tuesday March 28.

THE British version of the Daily Mail is being slammed on social media after its headline for Tuesday’s paper went public.

The headline in question reads “Never mind Brexit, who won Legs-it!” referring to a photo of UK’s Prime Minister Theresa May and Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

The photo was taken before the two world leaders sat down for a meeting in Glasgow to discuss issues like Scotland’s second bid for independence and the imminent launch of Brexit.

It didn’t take long for social media to fire up over the March 28 headline with thousands of Twitter users slamming the publication.

The headline appears to only be on the print version of the Daily Mail with their website taking a more ‘muted’ angle.
