Star Wars fans, hold onto your hats.

Disney has confirmed it is building two life-sized At-ATs. That's right: you'll soon be able to dart between the feet of the mechanical walkers from The Empire Strikes Back.

Mark Hamill on new Star Wars title

The actor, who plays Luke Skywalker, reacts to the newly announced title of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, due for release in December 2017.

The giant props are part of two new Star Wars-themed adventure parks being built at both Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Disney has promised the theme parks will "transport guests to a never-before-seen planet" where attendees will "find themselves in the middle of the action".

The two venues will sprawl across a combined 14 acres, meaning there'll be plenty of the Star Wars universe to go around.

Disney also says both sites will allow park-goers to take the reigns of the Millennium Falcon on a simulated secret mission. With the Han Solo stand-alone film - staring Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover - due out next year, this addition is certainly no accident.

The Star Wars theme parks are due to open sometime in 2019.
