IT’S the home that made Adele’s shortlist, and it’s where Justin Bieber has been living during the Sydney portion of his tour.
And, if you’ve got $20 million spare, it could be yours.
A crowd, of mainly adolescent girls, have crowded around the home at 6 Coronation Ave on Balmoral slopes for the last couple of days all hoping for a Bieber sighting.
And the star hasn’t disappointed.
He’s talked to neighbours, petted local Labradoodles, and chatted to his fans — when he isn’t having McDonalds or pizza delivered by one of his team.
“This home was one of three homes that Adele rented out when she was in Sydney,†one neighbour said.
“She didn’t end up staying here, but she rented it, and she stayed over at Hunters Hill (reportedly at the former Bachelor pad).
“But he (Justin Bieber) been really great, and the police came out — and have been around about — but (Bieber) came out on his balcony last night and said ‘hi’ to some of the girls and the neighbours.
“He’s shown an interest in these guys (neighbours living across the street) and there’s been no problems at all.â€
Despite police being called out to control the crowd outside the home, the 23-year-old star has been perfectly neighbourly.
A police spokeswoman for Harbourside police said they had attended the address on Thursday evening.
“Late in the evening, police attended the Balmoral street,†she said.
“Approximately 80 to 100 young people were there.
“Due to the fact they were obstructing the roadway they were moved on with nil incident.â€
Although the neighbours, who were largely unfazed by the police attendance, will be sad to see Bieber go on Saturday, the good news, for prospective buyers, is that the three-storey home is a unique turn-key offering — meaning the home is being sold ‘as is’ and fitted out.
And, surely, if it’s good enough for Bieber — it can’t be too bad.
The home is the creation of a London-based creator called Cameron MacDonald, who told The Australian “there is nothing you don’t get†in a turn-key house.
In this instance that includes a selection of artwork (and there is reportedly a Charles Blackman and an Andy Warhol among the paintings).
The five-bedrooms, five bathrooms and eight car garage — set over three levels — are all finished to perfection, and the swimming pool is Bieberiffic.
Raine & Horne’s Brendan Warner is the selling agent, and early reports suggest the home won’t sell for less than $20 million.
While the weather hasn’t been great for Bieber during his stay, the home offers extensive views of Balmoral Beach, Sydney Harbour and the ocean beyond.
“It’s on the market now, it’s just this (Justin Bieber visit) just popped up,†Mr Warner said.
“It’s not advertised for rental or generally available, and he’s leaving tomorrow (Saturday).
“I’ll be showing people through on Sunday.â€
