Kendall Jenner has revealed a very strange diet ‘trick.’

KENDALL Jenner has revealed the story behind a wall in her house — and bizarrely, it has a lot to do with staying trim.

The 21-year-old took to her official app to explain that the colour of her living room wall within her $6.5 million Los Angeles home is a secret trick to stop her eating.

In a post titled ‘The story behind my pink wall,’ Jenner revealed she was inspired after hearing her friends discuss the “Human Condition” exhibition they’d visited at a former LA hospital.

She wrote: “There’s actually a funny story behind the colour of my living room!”

“They [my friends] were telling me there’s a pink room at the exhibit that had an explanation of the colour choice,” Jenner wrote.

“Baker-Miller Pink is the only colour scientifically proven to calm you and suppress your appetite.”

“I was like, ‘I NEED this colour in my house’ — I then found someone to paint the room and now I’m loving it!”

It’s not a theory that’s heavily backed up with hard facts.

The most well-known ‘evidence’ that the pink tone works in those areas is the result of a study by Alexander Schauss in the late 1960s.

He conducted studies on psychological and physiological responses to the colour pink — and found that particular shade had a “marked effect on lowering the heart rate, pulse and respiration” — i.e., it calmed people down.

Another study done at John Hopkins University found that people exposed to Baker-Miller pink ate less.

Either way, having a bit of pink around probably can’t hurt.
