We know snowboarders love to get some air, but this is ridiculous.

Storyful chronicles this ski lift fail which saw a snowboarder carry off an unexpectedly dangerous stunt.

While on a ski lift in Mount Ashland, Oregon, Curtis Neill noticed that there was a man dangling upside down, slipping from a chairlift.

Somehow his lift up the mountain had gone pear-shaped, with him slipping from the seat, and left dangling metres above the ground, anchored from falling only by his snowboard, which appeared to be slipping fast.

After the lift was stopped, a dramatic rescue was successfully carried out, with the man descending safely.
