Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has been attacked on a night out with friends.

LITTLE Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has been left in floods of tears after being slapped in the face by a crazed fan in a restaurant.

The Sun reports the pop star was attacked as she shared a meal with pals after a night out in central London.

Stunned diners watched in horror as a man hurled abuse at Pinnock, 25, then slapped her.

Police were called to the restaurant after the star’s pals called police, but the attacker had fled.

A diner said, “He kept saying, ‘If my girlfriend was here, you would both feel really intimidated.’ Leigh-Anne’s friend wasn’t going to let it go. She kept saying, ‘No I wouldn’t, no I wouldn’t.’ And Leigh-Anne started going, ‘Maybe I would, maybe I would.’ And then he said something like ‘Shut up’ to Leigh-Anne’s friend. Leigh-Anne turned around and said, ‘Don’t say that to her’ or ‘Don’t be rude.’ And he walked around the table and leant into her and gave her a clean slap on the face.”

Other patrons at the 24-hour restaurant looked on, stunned, as they heard the smack, which left Pinnock’s hair “stuck to her face.”

The eyewitness added, “He was really aggressive. He seemed like he had been drinking. She looked completely shocked. She was laughing about it at first but then she completely broke down, crying. Her friend was comforting her. Leigh-Anne kept saying she wanted to go home. She walked off hysterically crying. Her friend had her arm round her. She looked a mess and she was crying her eyes out.”

Pinnock’s pal called cops as her attacker left the restaurant with around 10 friends.

The singer had earlier spent the evening partying at London club Drama with her Little Mix band mates before heading to the restaurant for a late-night snack.

She did not need to go to a hospital.

A spokesman for British police said, “Police were called on Monday, 28 November at around 04:50 hours by a woman who stated that a man had threatened to assault her and had assaulted another woman she was with. The suspect made off prior to police arrival. Officers conducted a search of the area and did not locate the suspect.”

No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing, police added.

The star took to Instagram the next day, posting a group photograph with the cryptic caption: “Last night was... eventful...”

Spokesmen for Pinnock and Little Mix both declined to comment.

The restaurant also did not wish to discuss the incident.
