Reynolds discusses his miserable photo.

Plenty of celebrities have been photographed with their so-called ‘resting b*ch face’ which almost always leads to a flood of comments and opinions speculating why said celebrity looks so miserable or angry.

Ryan Reynolds was an unfortunate victim of this at Swift’s iconic 4th of July party but chose to describe the photo in his own, unique way.

“That’s a problem I’ve had all my life,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “If I’m not aware a photo is being taken, my natural resting face is one of a man dying. I had no idea somebody was taking a photo. Therefore I was resting comfortably in my persona of a man whose soul is visibly exiting this earth.”

The photo in question was one posted by Taylor Swift’s best friend Brit Maack which showed Swift and her boyfriend at the time Tom Hiddleston, Maack and her partner and Blake Lively sitting on Reynolds lap.

While the other five in the photo appear to be smiling or very much in love, Reynolds copped it after he was photographed staring out into oblivion and looking absolutely miserable.

While thousands would kill to be at one of Swift’s iconic, star-studded Fourth of July parties, plenty speculated the poor Deadpool actor was being held hostage or something similar judging by his face.

Never one to miss a beat, the internet went wild.

The 40-year old actor has had a massive year with EW just naming him Entertainer of the Year after his hugely successful flick Deadpool.

Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively also welcomed their second daughter on September 30 of this year.
