Samantha Armytage may have finally found love.

It’s no secret Armytage has struggled the find love, but she reportedly found somebody to settle down with.

There has been speculation around Armytage’s love life for years, with suggestions she was dating everyone from Modern Family actor Eric Stonestreet to Russell Crowe.

But the Daily Telegraph reports she has found love with a fellow Channel 7 journalist.

A source said Armytage, 40, had been dating 7 reporter Peter Fegan for a couple of months and they were “very happy”.

“They get along well, while it has been going on for a little while now, they are taking things slowly,” the source said.

“With her busy schedule and the paps constantly following her, things have been difficult.”

Armytage has revealed in the past she wanted a relationship and has even expressed interest in having a baby, and planned to do so while single.

She even decided to stay in Australia while Sunrise broadcasted from Rio during the Olympics because she did not want to be infected with the Zika virus, which can affect unborn children.

She has now been linked to two Channel 7 colleagues in the past week and she hit back at suggestions today she was dating Fegan.

She posted a photo on Instagram of a shirt with the slogan “no, I’m not dating anyone. No, I don’t know what I’m doing with my life. Yes, I do want another slice of pie.”

Underneath the comment she said the reports were “rubbish”.

“In the past week or so, according to the gossips, I’ve been ‘in love with’ a gay colleague, a straight colleague, a bloke I stood next to at the races three months ago, a Gladiator, a British boy-band member and 17 other people I’ve never met,” she said.

“All these men and I have a bedtime of 7.30pm ... I’m amaaaazing.

“I urge all of you half-sensible people out there not to read/buy this rubbish. And certainly don’t believe it.

“If I stand next to someone, it DOES NOT MEAN I’M DATING THEM.”

Fegan is not the first journalist Armytage has been linked to, with reports she was dating fellow journalist Shaun White earlier this month.

It was also reported she once went on a date with news veteran Michael Usher.

Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr reportedly encouraged Usher, who moved to Channel 7 from Channel 9 earlier this year, to ask Armytage out on a date.

A relationship between them never blossomed.

When Usher made the move to Channel 7 after working on 60 Minutes, there were suggestions Armytage and Usher could rekindle their romance.

The Daily Telegraph reports Fegan and Armytage tried to keep a low profile since the start of their “relationship”.

Armytage has previously admitted she was unlucky in love, and said she only went on one date in the entire year of 2014.

“It will happen,” she told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

“I meet lots of interesting men. In the past I haven’t been the greatest judge of character, but I think I’ve done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years and I’m more definite about what I won’t put up with.”

It is believed Armytage has been single since she split with Sydney hotelier Peter De Angelis in 2012.
