A man has died in hospital following a shooting at Tingalpa on Brisbane's east this afternoon.

Emergency services were called an address on Dialba Street just before 4:00pm following reports of a gunshot.

They found the man inside with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition where he died.

A crime scene has been declared as police continue to investigate the incident.
