The model and author, who wed Franklin in a top secret ceremony over the weekend, opened up about her mental health in a new interview with OK! Magazine.

‘I am not ashamed to say that I see a professional regularly myself,” she revealed.

“I don’t have any fear of talking about it and being open about my mental health or helping those around me feel more comfortable talking about it.”

Campbell said that regular sessions with a therapist helped her to “download all my worries and stresses” with the help of a qualified professional.

“I’ve found it really helpful and feel so much better after a session,” she said.

Campbell and Franklin got engaged in 2014 and were due to marry earlier but were forced to postpone after the Swans superstar took a break from the game due to mental health issues.

Jesinta described the time as “tough and challenging” but has remained supportive of her husband and a champion for mental health issues.

Over the weekend, the loved-up pair finally walked down the aisle in a lavish ceremony in the Blue Mountains.

Despite earlier statements she would go for a simple wedding, Jesinta looked every bit the princess bride in a stunning full-skirted Vera Wang gown with cathedral veil — perhaps inspired by her front-row appearance at the label’s New York Fashion Week earlier this year.

The model made a quick change for the reception into an Ana Luisa gown which was also designed by Vera Wang and retails for around $20,000. The floor length, ivory coloured lace gown showed off Franklin’s petite figure.
