Year after year, her costumes have been getting more complex, as she’s disguised herself in prosthetics, wigs and make-up to render herself completely unrecognisable.

We were a little disappointed, then, when Klum turned up to the Halloween episode of The Ellen Show this week — dressed in a simple leotard and wig, in costume as Sia’s music video star Maddie Ziegler. Cute, but hardly up to Klum’s usual standards.

Sadly, it turns out that was just the entree of disappointment for Heidi Klum’s 2016 Halloween look. After many hours of teasing on her Instagram page, sharing more than a dozen short videos of hair, make-up and ample prosthetics being applied, Heidi Klum was ready to unveil her Halloween creation.

Since releasing the ‘sextuple’ look, Klum has been slammed online.

“Wow I was expecting a lot more than clones, your costume last year was bomb,” one user commented.

“Great disappointment,” said another.
