A NAKED woman who tried to break into a house and then attacked the homeowner in front of her kids, had been released from jail earlier that day.
The female homeowner and her friend, also a woman, carried out a citizen’s arrest on 49-year-old Christi Lamica before deputies arrived.
The terrifying incident happened at a house in the city of Placerville in El Dorado County, California.
The homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, told Fox 40 that she was called on her mobile by a neighbour as she drove home with her friend and her friend’s two children.
“She asked if I was home, and I said yeah I’m driving up my driveway now. And she says there’s a woman screaming in your driveway,†she told Fox 40.
Then the homeowner saw a naked woman charging at her vehicle.
That’s when they first saw 49-year-old Christi Lamica charging right at them.
“I immediately put the car in reverse and backing down slowly, and this naked woman only wearing socks came screaming down my driveway, running down screaming obscenities at us.
“The eight-year-old little girl in the back was screaming mummy are we going to die!? Are we going to die?!â€
El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office had been called but before they arrived the homeowner and her friend took matters into their own hands.
“So she took another swing, and I grabbed one arm and put it in a rear wrist lock, my friend grabbed the other, and then we gently put her on the ground and put both hands behind her back ... kinda funny that two women take down another naked woman,†the homeowner said.
Lieutenant Jim Byers, of El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, said Lamica had been released from jail earlier in the day, after being arrested the previous night in Camino for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Hours before trying to break into the homeowner’s property, Lamica was seen trying to break into a different house before being chased her off.
When Lamica was taken by deputies, she was arrested again for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
“Our hope is that we can get her into some treatment and hopefully get her some help,†Lt. Byers said.
